      SANKO SHOKAI (predecessor of SANKO Co.) established. Started design and construction of measuring, electrical and plumbing equipment.

    • 1959

      April 1959

      SANKO Construction Co. was established by spinning off the three construction divisions.

    • 1962

      July 1962

      Name changed to SANKO Co.

    • 1965

      October 1965

      SANKO Automatic Equipment Corporation (currently SANKO Material Supply Corporation) and SANKO Control Corporation were established by separating sales and manufacturing departments.

      December 1970

      Construction of Tsurumi Plant completed in Namamugi, Tsurumi-ku, Yokohama.

    • 1972

      November 1972

      Established SANKO DO BRAZIL S.A., the Group's first overseas subsidiary in Brazil.

      Tsurumi Plant certified as an approved plant under the Welding Enforcement Law of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry.
